Explaination of Multi Listings.

When seeking information on commercial properties clients should be aware that a high proportion of Estate Agencies utilise “Multi Listings� in order to fill their property portfolio and be able to offer sufficient choice to prospective buyers.

Multi Listings are properties that are available to all agencies on the Costa del Sol that participate by paying an annual fee and are often utilised by agencies that have only been in existence for a relatively short time who, due to their short time in business, rely on Multi Listings to provide a reasonably sized portfolio.

Multi Listings are easily recognised as the reference numbers of the properties offered all commence with different letters or numbers reflecting the actual listing company/agency, take a look at any of the companies on the Internet selling in on the Costa Del Sol and you will notice this format is common with many.

In principle there is nothing wrong with the above situation excepting that, obviously, there is more than one selling agent involved and, as they all have a standard selling fee, the buyer is always going to pay more to compensate both agencies!

Multi Listings are available to us, though we are loath to use them but, if any particular property, viewed elsewhere and not on our portfolio, is of interest, we can arrange viewings so you do not need to feel there is any business on the market that is closed to you and possibly you may feel it worth the asking price, who knows?
